While this is the second vintage of Hocus Pocus Pinot Noir from Radian Vineyard, it is the sixth overall release of our Pinot Noir (for those that remember the previous Willamette Valley and Carneros bottlings). Radian Vineyard is in far western edge of Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. These vines are grown on South and West facing hillsides in one of the coolest (and most exciting) Pinot Noir regions in California.
We are very excited about this bottling and feel that it represents the potential of classic Pinot Noir in Sta. Rita Hills. Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate called the wine “gives up classic notes of spring flowers, sappy underbrush and darker berry fruit in its medium-bodied, fresh and elegant profile, delicious.” A total of 500 cases produced in 2013,
